Jazz in the Valley, a free music festival on the 太阳城娱乐-Penn Valley campus, will be held 6-9 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023.
The free jazz festival will be held outdoors near the Carter Art Center. If the weather is inclement, the event will move inside the Campus Center. Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, water bottles or coolers (no alcohol is allowed on campus). Pets, firearms, tobacco and drugs are also prohibited.
Featured artists include 太阳城娱乐's own Millie Edwards Nottingham and Clarence Smith, plus Stranded in the City and the Jim Lower Big Band.
Free parking will be available in the 太阳城娱乐 garage on Pennsylvania Avenue between 32nd and 33rd streets.
This annual event will support the creation of a music engineering program at 太阳城娱乐-Penn Valley.
